Redwood Experience for Proof Verification and Approval

The Proof Verification and Approval functionality is now moved to Redwood, enhancing the user experience with the rich Redwood features. Payroll Administrators can now access the Review Summary Report from the Investment Declaration  page. They can approve or reject the documents of investment proof uploaded by the employees in these sections: 

  • House Rent Details
  • House Property and House Loan Information
  • Chapter VI A Deductions
  • Other Income

To view the Proof Approval and Approval pages, navigate to My Client Groups > Person Management > Search Employee > Calculation Cards > Statutory Deduction > Income Tax > Investment Proof approval.

Proof Verification and Approval - Administrator View

Payroll Administrators can set the status as Verified, Yet to Verify and Partially Verified for the submitted documents of investment proof.
They can also add, edit, and delete the information in the various sections.

The new page offers a rich Redwood user experience, fewer clicks, and better performance.

Access Requirements

Here are the steps to enable the redesigned Redwood Proof Verification and Approval page:

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance area and search for the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the profile option: ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED (Enable VBCS Progressive Web Application User Interfaces across the HCM application).
  3. Set the Level as Site and the profile value to Yes.
  4. Search for and select the profile option: ORA_PAY_MY_IN_CALCARD_REDWOOD_ENABLED.
  5. Enter Yes in the Profile Value field.
  6. Click Save and Close.

To enable any of the Redwood pages, the central profile option ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED needs to be set to Yes. For more information, see HCM Redwood Pages with Profile Options (Doc ID 2922407.1)
