Generate Workforce Schedule Enhancements

Extend the possible eligibility when generating open shifts by defining operating shift deviation allowances. Do this in your schedule generations profiles by setting start and end time deviations to apply to the profile operating shifts.

When generating open shifts, the schedule generation process first uses operating shifts in their specified priority. Then the process applies the shift extension deviations to reduce or extend the open shifts, improving the workload coverage.

Also, the schedule generation process now more accurately matches work patterns when automatically assigning shifts by also matching workers' contractual unpaid break durations.

And you can apply the new Number of Shift-Type Shifts per Period rule while generating and validating schedules.
