Workload Management App
You can filter the workload plans available to you based on your security profile. And you can manage all of the workloads providing staffing requirements to the scheduling processes. Use the new Workload Management app, Workload Plans tab.
Workload Plans Page
The default date range provided in searches is the current date plus 14 days, which finds any workload plans that intersect the date range. You can change the date range filter to match the precision you need to find the workload you're managing. The workload plan attributes include a Consolidated attribute that indicates the requirement is used in the workload consolidation record. If the workload plan was used in consolidation, you can change only the workload quantity. If new workload requirement attributes are needed for this date and time, we recommend that you create another workload plan, which will update the workload consolidation used for schedule coverage.

The Delete action removes workload plans that are no longer needed, provided the requirement isn't a baseline workload type for an active schedule period. To change this workload type for an active schedule period, set the workload quantity to zero. If another workload requirement exists for the same date and times, create another requirement and the consolidation logic will use the new requirement to update the consolidated workload requirement.
This feature lets schedule managers and administrators manage their workload plans using a dedicated app instead of, or along with HCM Data Loader.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- Any workload plan records for past dates aren't consolidated and used for workload requirements.
- Baseline workload types with active schedule periods can't be deleted because the schedule coverage process is using the workload requirements.
- Shift-based workload plans are allowed only for the Baseline workload type.
- If a workload plan record already exists for the provided date, the Shift or Time workload import type needs to remain the same for baseline workload types.
