Nomination Awards
Nomination awards enables employees to nominate their peers for exceptional contributions. Unlike traditional awards, where a manager sends the award directly, a committee reviews nominations, selects winners, and the award is then issued.
Here are the major phases involved in a nomination award:
- The administrators set up the nomination award programs. Programs are set up with nomination period, winner section period, nomination limit, winner limits, and the committee to review the nominations and to select winners.
- Once the employees are notified of the new nomination, they can submit nominations based on their nomination limit defined in the program setup.
- Once the nominations are submitted and the nomination period is complete, the committee members can review the nominations. Committee members log in to the Celebrate work area, access the list of nominations, and review the nominations. The committee members, who have the winner selection privilege can then select the winners. Validations are enforced to ensure fairness. For example, if a committee member is also a nominee for the award, they can’t select themselves as the winner. Another committee members can validate a winner if the nominee is on the selection panel. Also, validations for the nomination limits are enforced.
- Based on the date defined for sending the award on the program setup, the winner will be notified of the award.
This feature also tracks nomination history, the list of deleted awards, and provides clear phase and status indicators.
