Redwood Experience: Request Feedback

Take advantage of the Collect Feedback action that has been recreated in the Redwood toolset called Visual Builder Studio (VBS). In Redwood, the Collect Feedback action is called Request Feedback.

You can use the Request Feedback action to ask hiring team members to provide feedback regarding the interview of a candidate. The Request Feedback action is available here:

  • Job applications list: you can use the action for one or multiple job applications.
  • Job application details page

When requesting feedback, you define the following:

  • How you want to request feedback: by asking for a candidate rating, using one or several questionnaires, or both.
  • Which documents you want to include: resume, cover letter, miscellaneous attachments, internal documents.
  • Who will provide feedback.
  • Which other info or notes you want to share with the respondents.
  • When the feedback is due.

Note the following:

  • It's possible to ask for a rating without having to select a questionnaire. In responsive UI, it's mandatory to select a questionnaire and you can ask for a rating in addition to it. If you only ask for a rating, respondents will be asked to provide a star rating, and will have the possibility to provide comments.
  • When a feedback request has an expiration date, a reminder is sent to the respondent one day before the expiration date (same behavior as in previous releases).  This requires the Send Interview Feedback Respondent Request Expiring Notification scheduled process to be run daily. When no expiration date is set, a reminder will be sent 14 days after the date the feedback request was sent, if the respondent hasn't yet completed the feedback. This reminder is only sent once (sent once after 14 days and not sent again). This also requires the scheduled process to be run daily. If it's run less frequently, the reminder won't be sent if the scheduled process isn't run on the day the reminder would be sent. Similarly, if the scheduled process is run more than once per day, this can lead in multiple reminders being sent to the respondents on the same day.
  • The expiration date is optional (in responsive UI, it's mandatory to define an expiration date). You can leave the When is the feedback due? field empty, in which situation the feedback request will never expire.

Wit this feature, recruiters now have more flexibility in the type of feedback they can request to respondents.
