One of your ideas has been delivered from your suggestion.Restrict Salary, Individual Compensation, Payments Data from My Compensation Pages

You can now delay the visibility of salary, individual compensation, and payment details on the Redwood My Compensation page by displaying information as of a previous date rather than the current date. This enhancement lets you postpone an employee’s access to new compensation details, giving managers time to communicate the changes directly to employees.

There are situations when a salary change is made, but you want to prevent employees from immediately seeing these updates until managers have informed them. Meanwhile, downstream processes, such as payroll and related app interfaces, can access and use the updated information without delay.

Steps to Enable

How do I delay visibility of salary, individual compensation, and payment details on the My Compensation page?

Tips And Considerations

  • You can restrict the details shown in the Salary, Individual Compensation, and Recurring and One-Time Payments sections of the Redwood My Compensation page.
  • Typically, you'll use the same date across all three sections so you can reuse the same profile. But if needed, you can create separate profile options for each section and assign different dates to the profile options.
  • Below details are displayed in the responsive pages of recurring and one-time payments section and the behavior remains the same in redwood too:
    • Recurring payments that are currently active
    • Non-recurring payment with start dates on or before the effective date
