Steps to Enable

For more information, see this topic: How do I override the existing configuration on Redwood Document Records pages using business rules?

Tips And Considerations

  • This feature is available only on the Redwood Document Records page.

  • To ensure the configuration applies only to the intended document type, it's recommended to override settings within the business rule by using a document type condition. Without this, the overrides will affect all document types.

  • If an attribute is marked as Required in the document type configuration, but set to Hidden in the business rule, the application will return an error, at run time, due to the conflicting setup. You should avoid such configuration conflicts.
