Improved AI Generated Issuing Comments for Document Records and Description for Document Types
You can now leverage enhanced Generative AI capabilities in document records using the Generate button, with support for adjusting length and tone. This feature can be used for:

Generating issuing comments for a document record

Generating a description for a document type
Note: The earlier label of AI Assist has been renamed to Generate. Additionally, the page property is also renamed from Show AI Assist Button to Show Generate Button.
Generate issuing comments for a document record using AI
When you add a document record, in the Issuing Comments field, click the Generate button. Based on the type of document record you're adding, AI generates comments in the Issuing Comments field. To regenerate comments, click the Generate button again. You can use the AI generated comments as is or modify them.

The below table specifies the criteria used to generate issuing comments for a document record:

Country |
Issuing comments are generated based on Issuing Country. However, if there is no value entered for Issuing Country, then it will be generated based on Document Type Country. If neither value is available, then it will be generated based on Global or All Countries. |

Issuing comments generated will be 1250 characters. For document records that have renewal and retention sections, issuing comments generated will be 400 characters and 350 characters respectively. |

This is the default setting. Issuing comments generated will be 2500 characters. For document records that have renewal and retention sections, issuing comments generated will be 800 characters and 400 characters respectively. |
Rewrite |
Selecting this option will not consider the earlier inputs provided in this field. Issuing comments generated will be 2500 characters. |
Generate a description for a document type using AI
While creating or updating a document type, in the Description field, click the Generate button. Based on the document type, AI generates an appropriate description. To regenerate the description, click the Generate button again. You can use the AI generated description as is or modify it.
