Position Budgeting Streamlined by Simplifying Allocate By Options

From release 25D onward, the Business Unit will no longer be available as an Allocate By option in the Position Budgeting Configuration section on the Enterprise HCM Information page.

It's recommended that you review and adjust your position budgeting configurations on the Enterprise to ensure a smooth transition in 25D.

Because you may typically configure position budgets only by departments and locations, we’re simplifying the configuration by removing the business unit option.

Steps to Enable

Tips And Considerations

You need to modify your HDL templates to ensure that business unit is removed. Else, you won’t be able to load your data successfully after Business Unit is removed from the Allocate By options in 25D.
