Minimum and Maximum Limits for Cash-Based Spot Awards

You can now include minimum and maximum limits for cash-based Spot Awards. Previously, limit settings were only available for points-based awards. With this enhancement, administrators can define the allowable cash amount range directly in the award program setup. These limits apply during award creation, whether initiated by managers through the user interface or loaded through HDL, preventing entry of cash amounts outside the configured range.

In the Payroll Element tab of the Configure Programs page, you can set the limits. The validation takes place when you enter the amount while sending an award. In the Generate Element Entries page, the Element Details region also shows the minimum and maximum values.

This enhancement ensures compliance with budget policies and organizational guidelines.
