Payslip Enhancements and Statement of Earnings

The payslip now includes additional sections for absences, units by rate, taxable benefits, and messages.

Units by Rate

This is used where earnings are a result of number of units by rate. For example, in a claims based payment where the units are hours and the rate per hour are displayed on the payslip. Another example is where premium or allowances are paid at a different rate than the normal rate of pay.

Taxable Benefits

The notional pay from benefits in kind is displayed under Gross Earnings.

The Statement of Earnings (SOE) enables you to conveniently access all relevant payroll information for Irish employees in one place, making it easier to review and verify payroll run results. The SOE includes regions such as gross to net, earnings, deductions, absences, units by rate, and taxable benefits.

Steps to Enable and Configure

Use the Global Payroll Element Information to Archive region in Manage Enterprise HCM Information page to record element names and input values where the payroll run result holds the messages that you wish to display.
