Redwood Experience: Job Application Progress Visualization
You can view a job application's progress in the candidate selection process with a new progress bar on the job application details' side card. The progress bar displays the number of phases in the candidate selection process. Completed phases are displayed in green. The current phase and state are displayed as a link underneath the bar. You can click it to access the Progress tab.
The display of the progress bar is controlled using Visual Builder Studio business rules.
Progress Bar on the Job Application Side Card
With this feature, you can easily see where the job application is in the selection process and how far the job application has to go until offer and hire phases. The status hyperlink navigates you to the activity tab to see the full progression of the job application through the selection process.
Steps to Enable
You can control the display of the progress bar by creating business rules in Visual Builder Studio. The field to configure the progress bar is called Job Application Status and it's located under Job Application > Configure Fields and Regions: Side Card region > Status field. For details, see How do I make a field visible in Visual Builder Studio?
Take note of the following:
- If there are more than 21 phases in the candidate selection process, the progress bar isn’t displayed.
- The progress bar only shows the job application's current progress. If the job application was moved forward but then returned to a prior phase, the progress bar doesn’t show the phases the job application was moved back from.
To use Redwood experience, you need to enable these profile options:
- ORA_IRC_RECRUITING_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- ORA_IRC_JOB_APPLICATION_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- ORA_IRC_CANDIDATE_REDWOOD_ENABLED
For details, see How do I enable a profile option?
