Redwood Experience: Saved Searches on Job Application List Page
The Saved Searches feature is available from the job application list page. With the Saved Searches feature, you can:
- Save a search query.
- Share a saved search query with others.
- Mark a saved search to be your personal default search.
- Run a saved search.
- Take actions on the saved search: Save, Save as, Edit, Delete.
- Use the Copy link functionality to share the search with users using email or text messages for example. They can then run the search and save it in their personal saved searches.
- If you have the HRC_MANAGE_SYSTEM_SEARCHES_PRIV privilege, you can set the search as being a system search so it’s shared with all users. You can also mark it as being the default for all users when they use the search.

Saved searches allow users to easily apply the filters they most commonly use to the job applications list, reducing time and clicks spent reapplying the same filters every time they access the list.
Steps to Enable
To use Redwood experience, you need to enable these profile options:
- ORA_IRC_RECRUITING_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- ORA_IRC_JOB_APPLICATION_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- ORA_IRC_CANDIDATE_REDWOOD_ENABLED
For details, see How do I enable a profile option?
For details on enabling and customizing Redwood for HCM, see How do I adopt Redwood for HCM? and Extending Redwood Applications for HCM and SCM Using Visual Builder Studio.
For privileges, see the Access Requirements section.
Tips And Considerations
Some filters may not be applicable on all requisitions. Here are some examples:
- Not all requisitions include assessments. If a saved search includes assessment filters and a requisition without any assessments configured is accessed, the assessment filters will be ignored when the saved search is applied to the job applications list.
- Requisitions can use different candidate selection processes. If phase or state filters are included in a saved search and the saved search is applied to a requisition using a different candidate selection process, a warning message will be displayed explaining to the user that filters have been applied which aren't applicable.
Saved searches configured as default saved searches will not always be applied to job application lists. For example, when accessing the job applications list from a bulk action notification, from the requisition overview counts or the new applications column on the requisition list. When a user has applied filters to the list, navigates into a job application, and returns to the list their applied filters are retained, the list doesn’t apply any default saved search in this scenario.
Personal default saved searches take precedence over system default saved searches.
Access Requirements
For users to configure system saved searches which other users can access, you need to grant this privilege: HRC_MANAGE_SYSTEM_SEARCHES_PRIV
