Redwood Experience: Hiring Event Actions

Take advantage of new event actions that have been recreated in the Redwood toolset called Visual Builder Studio (VBS) When the Redwood profile option is enabled, users will see new options.

Event Actions Available in Redwood

• Preview Event - Preview how an event looks on a selected career site. You can preview updates to details, the banner image, language choices, and the long description.
• Cancel Event - Event owners can cancel events at any point before the event start date. If candidates have already registered for an event that you then cancel, their Registered status remains, but they'll receive a cancellation email.
• Translate Event - If you've enabled several languages for your event, you or an event member must translate the details of the event so that they display to users in those languages.

NOTE: At this time clicking Translate opens the previous interface.

• Copy Check-In URL - Copy an event check-in URL and provide it to candidates so that they can check in to the event. This check-in URL will be available for copying once an event has been posted.

With the new Redwood interface the user experience for managing events is greatly improved.

Steps to Enable

To display the new actions in Redwood, you need to enable these profile options:

• ORA_IRC_RECRUITING_REDWOOD_ENABLED
• ORA_IRC_EVENT_REDWOOD_ENABLED
