Time and Labor Redwood Pages Extensibility Enhancements
We organized page properties into clear categories making it easier to scan, find, and work with the settings you need. Here are some examples of property categories:
- Approval Properties
- Common Properties
- Header Properties
- Search Properties
- Time Card Actions
To speed up configuration, several properties that used to require manual text entry—like journey codes—are now choice lists. For example, when you pick a journey code, the list of available task codes updates automatically so you see only the relevant codes.
These guided journey parameters are available on all Redwood time pages, except time card and template pages:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
PersonNum |
Worker's person number |
ResourceId |
Worker's identifier |
The time card has more dynamic parameters available. For details, see the release 25C What's New feature Parameters Supported for Guided Journeys on the Redwood Time Card. The time card template page has no extensibility.
On these pages, you can configure business rules using specific conditions:
- Redwood Existing Time Cards
- Team Time Cards
- Team Change Requests
- Attendance Violations
- Time Events
Here are the three conditions you can use:
- User Role
- Business Unit
- Legal Employer ID
These enhancements help you configure time pages more efficiently and accurately, reducing the chance of mistakes. You can personalize experiences for each worker and apply tailored business logic where appropriate.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
