If a worker schedules an absence during a published schedule window, WFM Scheduling doesn't assign them any shifts for those days. The absence is considered to be a part of the published schedule. When you use the Evaluate Absences process to re-evaluate this worker's absences, the application retains the original absence duration and only regenerates the absence plan breakdown.
