Editing Absences with WFM Scheduling

Absences are now part of the published schedules with WFM Scheduling. Shifts that overlap with a worker's absence are reassigned to other workers. If the worker edits a scheduled absence that is part of the published schedule, the system retains the absence entries for all the days not modified by the worker.

The system retrieves new shifts from the published schedule only if the absence is extended. The absence duration and shift breakdown remain unchanged for the original absence dates.

When an absence that's part of a published schedule is edited, the system retains the absence entries for any day not modified by the user.
