Redwood Experience: Business Rules Support for Personal Payment Method Page
You can now configure country-level validation business rules for the Bank Details section on the Personal Payment Method page.
Here’s some examples of rules that you can configure depending on the specific legislative requirements of your country. Banner messages are displayed in the Bank Details section when such conditions occur.
- You can define a business rule to detect special characters in the bank account number. This validation disallows special characters in the Account Number field for United States.
- You can define a business rule to ensure that an employee has only one bank account corresponding to a particular account type. This validation ensures that an employee has a unique bank account.
This feature lets you configure additional business validation rules for bank accounts as required by your country and business process.
Steps to Enable and Configure
For more information on configuring these business rules, see How do I configure business rules for bank accounts on the Personal Payment Method page?
Tips And Considerations
- You have to configure business rules individually for self-service and professional user experiences. Business rules configured for self-service experience do not impact the professional user experience and vice-versa.
- To define business rules, select Settings and Actions > Edit Page in Visual Builder Studio > Configure Validations on the Personal Payment Method page.
