Redwood Experience for Person Costing

Use the new Person Costing Redwood user experience to manage the costing of a person at the payroll relationship, assignment, payroll relationship element, and assignment element levels.

Take advantage of all the features that come with the new Redwood toolkit for a more modern feel and experience. You can now access the new Person Costing page delivered using Redwood toolkit that allows managing the person costing efficiently.

Steps to Enable and Configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

The Redwood Person Costing setup page is enabled by default because the ORA_PAY_COSTING_SETUP_PAGES_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option is delivered set to Yes.

To verify this page is enabled, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Setup and Maintenance area and search for the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the ORA_PAY_COSTING_SETUP_PAGES_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option.
  3. Set the profile to Yes.
  4. Click Save and Close.

NOTE:
To enable any Redwood page, the central profile option ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED (Enable VBCS Progressive Web Application User Interfaces across HCM application) needs to be set to Y

If you set the ORA_PAY_COSTING_SETUP_PAGES_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option to No, the Costing of Locations will be hidden because there's no existing page for location costing.
