Read-Only Fields on the Redwood Payroll Relationship Page
You can now use business rules to configure and make fields read-only on the Redwood Payroll Relationship page. This is useful if you don't want payroll administrators to update defaulted data.
For example, a rule is written to default the payroll definition to Monthly Payroll and administrators shouldn't be able to override it. When a field is marked as read-only, defaulting rules will still apply but the value can't manually be changed.
You can apply both validation and defaulting rules to read-only fields on a Redwood page. However, these rules shouldn't conflict with each other, because then an administrator will not be able to take an action on the field.
Use business rules to configure and make fields read-only on the Redwood Payroll Relationship page.
