Seniority Changes During an Absence

The seniority can be assessed either once as of the start date of the absence or during the absence: in this case, the seniority is re-assessed during the absence and the potential changes in the entitlement bands are honoured.

You configure these options by means of the “Seniority Calculation for absences“ field on the absence type 

• At start Date: Seniority will be evaluated once of the absence start date. 

• During the absence: seniority will be reevaluated during the absence: if employee moves from Band 1 to Band 2 during the absence, entitlement will be recalculated

Entitlement can now be recalculated when seniority changes during an absence.
