Redwood Experience: Create Interview Schedule

Take advantage of the interview schedule creation flow that has been recreated in the Redwood toolset called Visual Builder Studio (VBS). When Redwood profile options are enabled and you navigate to the job requisition’s Interviews tab and click the Create icon, a window appears where you can select the Create an interview schedule option. The New Interview Schedule creation flow is then displayed.

Below are the key highlights of the Redwood interview schedule creation flow.

How to start

The creation flow starts with the How to start section where you select who will schedule the interview: the hiring team or the candidate. Note that the schedule types in Redwood are called Hiring Team (instead of Hiring Team Managed) and Candidate (instead of Candidate Managed). Based on your selection, fields that appear will vary.

How will time slots be determined: This field is only displayed when you select the Candidate schedule type and if Recruiting Booster is enabled with a calendar integration. The field indicates whether time slots are automatically created based on the interviewer's availability (using calendar integration) or if they're created manually by users.

Configure schedule

Fields in the Configure schedule section vary depending on the schedule type you selected in the How to start section.

When can candidates schedule their interview: If you select "Same day", candidates can select an interview time slot the same day that they access the scheduling page. If you select "Number of days", candidates can select an interview time slot after a number of days after which they accessed the scheduling page.

Add interview resources

These fields are new in Redwood: Interviewer guidelines and Documents. Both fields are used to provide additional information to the interviewers.

When AI Assist is enabled, you can use it to generate text in these fields: For the scheduled interview, Additional notes, Interviewer guidelines. The content generated by AI takes into account details of the requisitions to which the schedule is associated. For shared schedules, AI doesn't consider the details of the requisition because shared schedules can be associated to multiple requisitions.

When you decide to add .ics attachments to the interview invite, you can now send the attachments to candidates, interviewers, or both.

Add time slots

This section is available only when creating a candidate managed schedule with slots created manually. Note that for other scheduling types and for slots determined automatically, you can't create time slots.
