Enhancement to Translation Editor Support on Redwood Benefit Pages
Benefits now provides comprehensive multi-language capabilities to support global organizations with a diverse workforce. This feature lets the users interact with the application in their preferred languages, improving usability and helping to reduce errors.
You can now use the Redwood Translation Editor to translate attributes directly on these pages also, without switching languages or signing out from the application:

The editor does not auto-translate. You must manually enter translated text for each language.

How do I translate Benefits attributes on the Redwood pages using translation editor?
Tips and considerations
- All fields shown within the Translation Editor are required and must be completed for each selected language.
- If translations are no longer needed, you may replace the translated text with the base language text to remove them.
- Translated values are retained and included during plan copy.
- The system does not auto-translate. Users must manually enter translated text for each language.
- The Translation Editor is disabled during update and correction modes.
- When multiple languages share the same source language, all applicable language entries are updated together.
- If an editable field is updated on the main page, the change is reflected in the Translation Editor.
- Fast Formulas and DBI will continue to use and support English names only.
- After upgrading to 26B, you must run the Manage Benefits Translation Data batch process as a prerequisite.
- Uniqueness on name is enforced on English rows only.
- All the dropdowns based on these objects will show the names in the session language.
- Diagnostic reports will continue to show only English names for the plan design objects.
- New sections are added to the Benefits Setup Diagnostic Tests to report anomalies in translation data.
- Batch process log files will show the plan design object names in the session language.
- Error messages will show the plan design object names in the session language.
- Extracts, HCM Data Loaders (HDL), and ADF DI Loaders are not translated.
