OpenSesame Content Provider Integration

Import OpenSesame content into Oracle Learning as self-paced learning. You can keep your training catalog up to date by automating regular content refreshes fromOpenSesame. The specific OpenSesame content available for import depends on your subscription plan and which content you can access from OpenSesame.

Track Progress Seamlessly
Oracle Learning records each learner’s progress and completion as they work through OpenSesame content. When team members sign in to OpenSesame with their Oracle HCM work email, OpenSesame sends progress and completion details back using the xAPI protocol. This two-way integration means Oracle Learning shows one complete transcript for every learner—even when learning happens on OpenSesame.

Find OpenSesame Content Easily
Learners can quickly discover OpenSesame learning in the Oracle Learning catalog using the Publisher filter.

Tips and considerations

  • This integration is available in 26A with the 20-Feb cumulative weekly bundle or a later. It's therefore available for anyone receiving the 26A update in March or April 2026, those that received 26A before that will need to obtain the patch bundle.
  • OpenSesame manages its own content, so some details remain read-only in Oracle Learning. Content updates flow from OpenSesame to Oracle Learning whenever changes are made.
