Learning Tutor Enhancements
By transitioning Learning Tutor from a supervisor to a task-specific workflow agent, we streamlined the learning process with three key enhancements:
- Optimized performance provides faster, repeatable, and focused interactions.
- Integrated discovery automatically queries the learning catalog to provide three detailed, selectable learning suggestions at the start of every new topic.
- Complete chats are preserved as HTML attachments in learner transcripts for post-session review.

Steps to enable and configure
- Deploy the AI agent team using the delivered template.
- Template name: Learning Tutor
- AI agent team code: ORA_HCM_LEARNING_TUTOR_TEAM
- Create a guided journey with the AI agent as a task.
- Add the AI agent to Redwood pages using the guided journey from step 2.
- We suggest you add the agent to Me > Learning and Development: Learning Catalog
If you already deployed an earlier version of this agent, you'll need to retire that version and deploy a new version from this updated template.
Tips and considerations
- Chat histories have clear separation of AI and learner messages for easy review.
- Chat history persistence for noncatalog learning applies only when the learner completes an activity through the Learning Tutor interaction.
