Redwood: Integrate Microsoft Teams

Set up Oracle Communicate to integrate with Microsoft Teams to send communications. Post to channels and teams in Microsoft Teams using Oracle Communicate. To start the configuration, you need someone with an active subscription to create the Azure Bot in the Azure Portal. Then the campaign administrator can continue to configure the integration in Setup and Maintenance:

  • Define Microsoft endpoints
  • Define Microsoft Teams Bot
  • Add Microsoft Teams Bot to communication team

With the integration enabled, the campaign manager can create and manage a campaign in Oracle Communicate to post in Microsoft Teams. The campaign manager can do the following:

  • Create a post 
  • Design a post
  • Use AI to help generate the post
  • Decide when to send the post
  • View metrics on the post
  • View discussions about the post
  • See reactions and responses
  • View an AI generated summary about the post
  • Open post in Microsoft Teams
  • Create a follow up post

Business benefit: Campaign Managers can now post to Microsoft Teams using Oracle Communicate.
