Redwood: Refine and Lock Campaign Audience with Audience Manager

Refine the audience generated by a filtered list or an eligibility profile by adding or removing audience members. Alternatively, as the campaign manager, you can choose to lock an audience refresh to prevent any updates to the audience list. If you select this option, when you activate the campaign, the list of audience members is locked and not refreshed by the scheduled process.

When the audience list is generated, you'll receive an email with a link to refine the audience. Use the Refine Audience page to do the following:

  • View the list of people in the audience.
  • Add additional people to the list.
  • Remove people from the list.
  • Add back the people you removed.
  • Download the list.
  • Search for people in the audience list.
  • Change the order of the columns in the table.
  • Use the Audience Status column to see who's in the original list (default), who you've added, and who you've removed.
  • Opt to not refresh the audience when the scheduled process runs.

After you've activated the campaign, you won't be able to make further changes.

Business benefit: With this feature, you have flexibility with your predefined audience to add or remove audience members.

Tips and considerations

  • The refresh audience option is set to Yes by default.
  • Before you activate the campaign, you can change the origin of the audience list. For example, you can swap HCM list to eligibility profile and the application will generate a new audience list. The previous audience list won't be saved.
