View-only Access to the Redwood Calculation Card Page

You can now grant users view-only access to employee records managed through calculation components such as involuntary deductions, taxes, and social insurance. This feature applies to employee records accessed from the Redwood Calculation Entries and the Earnings and Deductions pages. 

To enable this access, add the following aggregate privilege to the appropriate custom roles:

• View Payroll Calculation Cards (ORA_PAY_VIEW_PAYROLL_CALCULATION_CARDS)

The view-only access is provided by default to the Payroll Administrator role, and you can also assign it to other predefined roles.  

Note: In the current release, 26B, not all calculation cards support this privilege. If a calculation card doesn’t support it, you won’t be able to open the Redwood Calculation Card page and access will not be available.

This feature enables users to review payroll calculation card data without being granted permission to modify it.

Steps to enable and configure

To enable view-only access to the Redwood Calculation Card page when it is opened from the Calculation Entries page, add the following aggregate privilege to the appropriate predefined or delivered roles:

• View Payroll Calculation Cards (ORA_PAY_VIEW_PAYROLL_CALCULATION_CARDS)
