Redwood Experience: Job Offer Enhancements for Employees with Multiple Assignments

Take note of the enhancements made to these scenarios when creating job offers for employees with multiple assignments.

Scenario 1: Employee with 1 work relationship and 2 assignments

  • When you create a job offer for an employee whose proposed worker type and legal employer match their existing assignments, several actions are available, such as Promote, Transfer, Add Additional Assignment.
  • If you select Add Additional Assignment, the job offer data is copied to the employee’s assignment record once the record moves to the HR phase. You can then process the record in the Manage Job Offers area (My Client Group > More Actions > Manage Job Offers).

Scenario 2: Employee with 2 work relationships (same worker type) in 2 separate legal entities and each work relationship has 1 assignment

  • When you create a job offer for an employee where the proposed worker type matches the existing work relationships but the proposed legal employer is different, available actions include Global Transfer, Global Temporary Assignment, Add Employee Work Relationship.
  • If you select Add Employee Work Relationship, the job offer data is copied into the employee’s assignment record once it moves to the HR phase when you process the record manually in the Manage Job offers area (My Client Group > More Actions > Manage Job Offers) or via automated processing.

Business benefits:

  • Reduced manual effort and errors: The automatic transfer of job offer data into the employee’s assignment record eliminates the need for duplicate data entry, reducing administrative workload and minimizing the risk of manual errors.
  • Streamlined internal mobility processes: By supporting scenarios like adding assignments and adding work relationships, the system enables smoother and more efficient handling of internal candidate movements.
  • Improved data consistency across HR Systems: Seamless data flow from job offers to assignment records ensures consistency between Recruiting and Core HR, improving data integrity across the organization.
