Dedicated Security Role for Absences and Entitlements

Administrators can use this enhancement to:

• Assign the dedicated duty role to a custom role according to your organization's access policy.
• Provide selected users with direct access to the Absences and Entitlements page.

Try it out

Assign the custom role to a selected user and verify that the user can access the Absences and Entitlements page.

Application administrators can provide selected users with direct access to the Absences and Entitlements page. This allows access to be aligned with the organization’s security policy.

Steps to enable and configure

Assign the Absence and Entitlement Management Duty (ORA_ANC_ABSENCE_AND_ENTITLEMENT_MANAGEMENT_DUTY) role to a custom role.

Access requirements

• The HR Specialist role includes access to the Absences and Entitlements page through a privilege.
• To provide direct access to selected users, assign the dedicated duty role (ORA_ANC_ABSENCE_AND_ENTITLEMENT_MANAGEMENT_DUTY) role to a custom role.
