Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

  1. For salary, assignment, or job EFF-based defaulting and validation to work, users must have read-only access to the relevant data through appropriate security privileges. For example, if Matt is a line manager and his organization has a defaulting rule that uses assignment EFF to default an input value, Matt’s security must provide read access to assignment EFF for the defaulting to work when he performs a personal contribution.
  2. When retrieving these details, the effective date is used. If the effective date is not available, the current date is used.
