Payroll Interface for ADP Workforce Now Supports User-Entered Is Paid by WFN Indicator

The Is Paid by WFN field in the Run Payroll Interface for ADP Workforce Now interface is now user-enterable. Use this field to identify employees who are processed through ADP Workforce Now and employees who are processed through another payroll provider.

Employees processed by another payroll provider can still be included in the ADP Workforce Now interface when they are needed for non-payroll purposes. The field defaults to Y in both the interface and the employee data-entry page.

You can accurately identify which employees are processed by ADP Workforce Now while continuing to extract employee data needed for non-payroll purposes.

Steps to enable and configure

1. Enable the Is Paid By WFN field by submitting the flow “Manage Global Payroll Interface Features Usage” using the below parameters

• Purpose: Enable Additional Data Capture For ADP Interfaces
• Feature: Assignment EIT Information EFF
• Component: GPI Workforce Now Extended Information with LOV format
• Subcomponent: Is Paid By WFN

2. Ensure the process completes successfully.

3. From Setup and Maintenance > Manage Extensible Flexfields, search for Flexfield Code “PER_ASSIGNMENT_EIT_EFF” and deploy.
 

Tips and considerations

Set the field to identify employees processed through ADP Workforce Now.

Set the field appropriately for employees processed by another payroll provider.

Employees not paid through ADP Workforce Now can still be extracted through the interface for non-payroll purposes.

The default value is Y in the interface and on the data-entry page.
