Support Updating Goal Progress Notes in Goal Management Agents
You can now use the Team Goals Assistant and Employee Goals Assistant AI agents to view, create, and update progress notes for goals.
These AI agents honor existing visibility settings and access rules. Users can view progress notes only when the goal visibility setting allows them to see the goal. Users can update a progress note only when they have visibility to it. When users update progress note visibility, they can select only the visibility options configured for performance goals or development goals on the Feedback Visibility page.
When users create a progress note using the AI agent and don't specify a visibility option, then the AI agent uses the Manager and worker visibility option.
This enhancement helps workers and managers document goal updates more efficiently using goal assistant AI agents while preserving the visibility and access controls used on the goal details page.
Steps to enable and configure
- In Setup and Maintenance, use the Manage Feedback Visibility task to configure the visibility options for progress notes.
- Your environment must have the appropriate services for Oracle Applications Platform deployed. For more information, see FAQ2521 on My Oracle Cloud Support.
- Set the Enable Security Console External Application Integration (ORA_ASE_SAS_INTEGRATION_ENABLED) profile option to Yes and enable permission groups for the appropriate roles. See Access Requirements for AI Agent Studio.
