Updated Succession Planning Agent to Find Best Matching Candidates for Succession Plans
HR specialists can now provide natural-language requests to the updated Succession Planning Guide agent to find potential successors for succession plans. The updated agent suggests candidates based on available talent-profile information, assignment details, location, and workforce structure. You can ask for candidates who best match a role, succession plan, job model, or skill area. The agent can suggest candidates and show their recommendation strength and relevant skills to support succession-planning decisions.
This enhancement enables HR specialists to identify potential successors more efficiently and use a broader set of talent information when considering candidates for key roles.
Steps to enable and configure
- Your environment must have the appropriate services for Oracle Applications Platform deployed. For more information, see FAQ2521 on My Oracle Cloud Support.
- Set the Enable Security Console External Application Integration (ORA_ASE_SAS_INTEGRATION_ENABLED) profile option to Yes and enable permission groups for the appropriate roles. See Access Requirements for AI Agent Studio.

Access requirements
