Configure Editable Past Schedule Periods and Worker Search Fields
On the Schedule and Shift Options page, Scheduling administrators can configure the number of past schedule periods available for editing and select fields that appear in worker search results when assigning a shift. The configuration now includes Work Pattern Match field, which helps schedule managers identify suitable workers when assigning or reassigning shifts.
Administrators can:
- Set the editable past-schedule range from 0 through 10 periods; the default is 2.
- Select up to four worker search attributes, now including Work Pattern Match.
- Retain Person Name as a required worker search attribute.
- Apply the selected worker attributes during open-shift assignment, partial assignment, and worker reassignment.
These setup options give organizations more control over retrospective schedule changes and the worker details used during shift assignment. They help support consistent scheduling practices and more informed worker selection.
Steps to enable and configure
- Go to My Client Groups > Workforce Scheduling > Schedule and Shift Options.
- In the Past schedule periods available to edit field, enter a whole number from 0 to 10 to specify how many previous schedule periods remain editable.
The default value is 2. - In the Fields to search for workers when assigning a shift field, select up to four attributes to display in worker search results, now including Work Pattern Match when appropriate.
