Enhancing UI with Updated 24/25 Terminology

Aligning UI with new 24/25 ISIR terminology used by the Department of Education within packaging and awarding of Title IV and CommonLine funds, as well as additional places where ISIR data is displayed.

Packaging UI has been updated to display 24/25 ISIR data.

  • Within the Packaging UI, a new ISIR Table view has been created to report 2024-25 and future ISIRs used in packaging for the academic year. 
    • Within the FSA Data Summary column, the following column headers will display:
      • Award Year
      • ISIR Status 
      • Student Aid Index Value
        • If the SAI is not included in the ISIR, the value will display as blank.
      • Dependency Model 
    • The existing ISIR table view will be displayed when a prior year (2024 or earlier) ISIR is used to packaged funds within the academic year.
    • Clicking the 24/25 ISIR within the table will allow the user to view the ISIR details.
  • Within the Add/Edit Fund Dialog screen, the following labels will be displayed for the 2025 aid year:
    • In 23/24 and 24/25, cross-over the rows will be available but not available to edit for the 24/25 aid year.
    • EFC Basis has been removed.
    • EFC Offset has been removed.
    • EFC Value has been replaced with SAI Value .
      • When the period crosses both 2024 and 2025 aid years, the label will display EFC/SAI Value.
    • For Pell, the following fields have been updated:
      • Minimum Regulatory Amount has been removed.
      • Zero EFC Indicator has been removed.
      • Enrollment Status has been removed.
        • In 23/24 and 24/25, cross-over the rows will be available but not available to edit for the 24/25 aid year.
  • Within the Packaging UI, the eligibility eye view by fund has been updated for the 2025 aid year.
    • The EFC Basis label has been removed.
    • The EFC Offset has been removed.
    • The EFC value has been replaced with the SAI Value.
      • When the period crosses both 2024 and 2025 aid years, the label will display EFC/SAI Value.
    • For Pell, the following fields have been updated
      • When the academic year crosses both 2024 and 2025 aid years, the value will display blank.
      • Minimum Regulatory Amount has been removed.
      • Zero EFC Indicator has been removed.
      • SAI Value has been added to the output.
      • Pell COA has been added to the output.
      • Pell Grant Eligibility Flag has been added to the output.
      • Max Pell Indicator has been added to the output.
      • IASG Indicator has been added to the output.
      • CFH Indicator has been added to the output.
      • Minimum Pell Indicator has been added to the output.

On the Commonline Information UI, the following field name labels will be updated to reflect updated Commonline 4 specifications released by NCHER to support the Consolidated Appropriations Act:

  •  Expected Family Contribution Amount will be updated to Student Aid Index.
    • This field will support negative values.
  • Estimated Financial Aid Amount will be updated to Other Financial Assistance Amount.

On the ISIR Review task, assumptions were removed for 24/25 and how the Person UUID was displayed was enhanced.

  • For 24/25, the Assumptions and Highlights tab has been updated to just be Highlights as Assumptions are no longer supported.
  • On the ISIR Review task, the Person UUID is partially masked to reduce the size of this field and the user can click view to display the full Person UUID.

Within the ISIR Section on the Student Summary UI, the Person UUID and EFC/SAI fields were updated.

  • When displaying the Person UUID within the ISIR section, we now partially mask the value and the user can hover to display the full Person UUID.
  • The Primary EFC Amount label will be replaced with Student Aid Index (SAI) Value for the 2025 aid year.
    • If the SAI is not included in the ISIR the value will display as blank.

Added separators for each 24/25 ISIR contributors to add greater visibility, and grouped FTI data to be shown prior to manually entered data within the Financial Information Section on the following UIs:

  • ISIR Information
  • ISIR Corrections
  • ISIR View in ISIR Verification/ISIR Review Tasks
  • View ISIR Details popup within Packaging
