General Title IV Eligibility to Support April 24/25 ISIR Comment Code Updates
On April 11, 2024, the Department of Education updated the Volume 7 Comment Code guide with an update that impacts packaging. Comment Code 328 was introduced as a newly added code that requires resolution in order to be eligible to receive Title IV funding. For the 24/25 award year and forward, the new comment code 328 and existing comment code 327 will make a student ineligible for General Title IV Eligibility if either code has not been cleared on the student's ISIR.
Allows for automated processing of Title IV fund eligibility using 24/25 ISIRs that include Department of Education's April comment code updates.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
Until this feature is delivered to production any students that receive a 24/25 ISIR with comment code 327 or 328 will have the code auto cleared and cause them to be General Title IV Eligible for Title IV Funds. Please ensure that your awarding QC holds are on and you evaluate and adjust funding as needed for student's with either comment code. Additionally, you can adjust the isirUsedInPackaging script within the ISIR_Used_in_Packaging column in ISIR_MGMT.csv to not select the ISIR if wither comment codes are present.
