2025-26 Award Year Packaging and Awarding Updates

In February the Department of Education published the official minimum and maximum values for 2025-2026 Pell. As a result, baseline configuration was updated to include 2025-26 information for Title IV funds, including the values published for Pell, and the necessary configuration to award the funds for the new award year. In addition, sample Non Federal Funds were added for the 2025-26 award year.

Updates were made within the FAS_FUND_CONFIG.csv, T4_CRIT.csv, and NFR_ATTRIB.csv workbooks. See the "Steps to Enable" below for detailed information on all updates made and the delivered baseline published on Cllud Customer Connect.

This feature allows you to accurately award Title IV and Non Federal Funds for the 2025-26 award year. 

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Student Financial Aid

  • Review delivered baseline configuration and adjust your configuration as necessary
    • FAS_FUND_CONFIG.csv
      • Copy the rows of each of your Title IV funds from the 24/25 award year for the new 25/26 award year
        • Aid_Year = 2025-2026
        • Increment any values that are aid year specific within Effective_Start_Date, Fund_Close_Out_Date, Awarding_Close_Out_Date, and anything in your institutional specific configuration
        • For Pell, set Pell_Maximum_Regulatory_Amount to be 7395 and the Pell_Minimum_Regulatory_Amount to be 740
    • T4_CRIT.csv
      • Copy the awarding criteria row from the 24/25 award year for the new 25/26 award year
      • Aid_Year = 2025-2026
      • Increment any values that are aid year specific (ie Effective_Start_Date)
    • NFR_ATTRIB.csv
      • Add configuration for any Non Federal Funds that are awarded at your institution 
  • Upload your configuration into Student Financial Aid (SFA) 
    • Ensure the "Configuration Administration" Permission is enabled
    • Navigate to the Configuration Administration UI
    • Upload your zipped configuration
  • Repackage your students which will adjust their funding if eligible for Pell and award their Title IV funding

Tips And Considerations

Ensure that institution specific configuration is updated as desired (i.e. add institution specific list of Non Federal Funds fund type information).
