Access to OBBB NSLDS fields
SFA reporting and extract views now expose additional OBBB-related NSLDS Type 1 Applicant Detail data to support downstream reporting and operational processes without manual reconciliation.
New Available Fields
- Aggregate Student Recipient Parent Plus Total
- Graduate Aggregate Total
- Professional Aggregate Total
- Lifetime Maximum Loan Total
- Loan Limit Exception Flag
Business benefit: The Access to OBBB NSLDS fields update enables institutions to ensure accurate downstream reporting and financial aid operations, and provide a seamless transition during a period of significant NSLDS data change.
Steps to enable and configure
Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.
Offering: Student Financial Aid
- Review and update any custom reports, extracts, integrations, or field mappings if you want to use the newly available NSLDS fields.
Tips and considerations
- This enhancement applies only to NSLDS Type 1 Applicant Detail data.
- Review any custom reports, extracts, or integrations that consume NSLDS data to determine whether these new fields should be incorporated.
- Updates to the related product report (NSLDS Aggregate Limit Reporting) will be updated in the future to include these new fields
