Better Support for Qualification on Trade Transaction Lines
This feature provides better visibility to information when qualifying a trade transaction line for trade agreements. The enhancements are:
- New status value of REQUIRES REVIEW
- Additional fields on Transaction Line Qualification
- Exchange rate support on automation agent
Status Value of REQUIRES REVIEW
A new Status Value of REQUIRES REVIEW has been added to the transaction line. When GTM qualifies a transaction line for a trade agreement, this status enables GTM to place a transaction line into a REQUIRES REVIEW status. You can then review the Transaction Line Qualification, make any necessary updates like adding conditions or item attributes. You can manually set the Status to QUALIFIED or re-run the Qualify for Trade Agreement action to set the status.
Additional Fields on Transaction Line Qualification
The Justification Code and Justification Description have been added to the Transaction Line Qualification. Similar to the justification fields on the item, they provide more context around qualification including why a qualification passed or why a qualification is in review.
Exchange Rate Support on Automation Agent
Exchange rate support has been added when using an automation agent to qualify a transaction line for a trade agreement. For automation agents using an Agent Type of GTM TRANSACTION LINE, the Action called QUALIFY FOR TRADE AGREEMENT includes Exchange Rate ID, Exchange Rate Date, and Currency, enabling you to define the exchange rate details to be used.
Business Benefit
This enhancement provides numerous benefits to users of transactional trade agreement qualification by improving visibility into data for audits, better support for regulatory requirements around exchange rates, and prompting the user to resolve problems allowing for management by exception.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
