This feature allows you to easily enter a Ready Quantity - which represents the quantity provided to you as being ready to ship.  Once the Ready Quantity is entered, you can easily copy the provided Ready Quantity value to Ship Quantity Value on your Order Base Line as part of the Order Base Line Packing action.

In the example below the Ready Quantity will be entered for a set of Order Base Lines and the newly provided logic and functionality will be demonstrated. 

To start the process, you will provide a Ready Quantity value for your Order Base Line.  You can add the value by editing your Order Base Line using the Manager as shown below.

In this example, the Order Base Line Screen Set has been configured to allow for a quicker entry of the Ready Quantity using the in-line edit feature.

Now that you have entered the Ready Quantity for the Order Base Lines, you can now use the Ready Quantity to set the Ship Quantity for your Release processing.  In this first example, the first Order Base Line with A Ready Quantity of 10 will be used to demonstration the new capabilities.  To initiate the process, select Order Base Line and run the Order Base Line Packing action as shown below.

When the action is run the action input screen below appears, note that Ready Quantity column is now shown under in the Line Items grid.  The next step in the process is to select the New Ship Unit option.

When the New Ship Unit button is selected, the Order Base Line Packing Detail screen is displayed.  The Order Base Line Packing Detail screen now has a new option to Ship Ready Quantity or Ship Complete. In this example, the Ship Ready Quantity will be selected..

When you select the Ship Ready Quantity button, the Ready Quantity is moved to the Ship Quantity as shown below.

After you select Save above, the screen below appears - note that, as expected, the Release Instruction is for the Ship Quantity entered above, which originate from the Ready Quantity value and the Remaining Quantity has been reduced by the amount of the Ordered Quantity.

In the example below, the three Order Base Lines will have the Ready Quantity used for the Ship Quantity.  The Order Base Line Ready Quantity values have already been set - as shown below..

In the Details step of Order Base Line Packing action input, the three Order Base Lines Line Items are checked and the Create New Ship Unit is selected.

In the Order Base Line Packing Detail screen, you select the option to Ship Ready Quantity, which moves the entered Ready Quantity value to the Ship Quantity value.

After Save above, the Ready Quantity is set to zero and the Remaining Quantity is updated to reflect the entered Ship Quantity.

Selecting Finish creates the Order Release using the Release Instruction from above.  The created Order Release has one Ship Unit with three Lines.

This feature simplifies the process for entering and processing a Ready Quantity value against your Order Base Lines - allowing you to apply the Ready Quantity as your Ship Quantity. 

Steps to Enable

The Ready Quantity feature is Ready To Use - however - you might want to consider adding the Ready Quantity to your Screen Set (Finder, Finder Results) to allow for greater visibility and easier processing.

In the setup below the Ready Quantity field  has been added to the Order Base Line Finder and Finder Results.

Also, adding the Ready Quantity to your Finder Results - with the option to Edit - will allow you to use In-line Editing to enter the Ready Quantity values.
