Enable VPD For Spot Bid Finder

This Optional Feature, when enabled, changes the way the application fetches data and restricts the Service Provider's access to view and accept/decline only their shipments in the Spot Bid Finder. This feature provides a condition to the Shipment Predicate on the Service Provider VPD Profile which is now used to fetch the data for the Spot Bid Finder. 

The new approach no longer relies on the previous approach of DBA impersonation for fetching the data.

Provides an improved more secure approach for fetching and providing data to Service Providers in the Spot Bid Finder.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

NOTE:  There should be no change in behavior with this Optional Feature enabled, however, given the potential for heavy usage of the Spot Bid Finder in your implementation, we suggest enabling and testing this feature.

A copy of the previous SERVPROV VPD profile is still available, and has been renamed to SERPROV_DEPRECATED_24A.
