One of your ideas has been delivered from your suggestion.Confirm Printer Name While Printing Label

We’re enhancing label printing to allow you to print labels on your desired printer from several screens, making it easier to align with your specific needs. This enhancement communicates with unique error messages, ensuring you're promptly informed about any issues that need attention. It's a step toward a smoother and more personalized label printing experience tailored just for you.

In 24A, when you want to print a certain label, the system provides you the ability to choose a printer from the 'Printer Name' and specify the number of copies to be printed in the 'Number of Copies' fields. This allows you greater flexibility along with the ability to print up to a maximum number of 5 copies.

NOTE: If you try to exceed this limit, the system will alert you with an error 'Number of copies cannot be greater than 5' message.

You can print LPN and ASN labels from the following screens:

  • IB Shipment Header (IBShipmentView) > Print LPN Labels, Print ASN Labels and Print Serial Numbers Label
  • IB Shipment Detail (IBShipmentView) > Print LPN Label
  • Location (LocationViewFW) > Print Label
  • Item (ItemView) > Print Label

NOTE: Now, you can now select multiple items to print the labels.

  • Pallet (PalletView) > Print Blind Label and Print Pallet Label
  • IB Shipment Header (IBShipmentView) > Nbr Items > Print Item Label
  • IB Shipment Header (IBShipmentView) > Nbr Items > Print All Item Label
  • IB Shipment Serial Number (IBShipmentSerialNumberView > Print Serial Number Label
  • Serial Number Inventory (SerialNbrInventoryView) > Print Label
  • Order Header (OrderHdrView) > Print Label
  • OB Load (ObLoadView) > Print LPN Label
  • OB Order (OBOrdersView_FW) > Print Label
  • Work Order Inquiry (WorkOrderInquiryView) > Print Label
  • Manifest (ParcelManifestView) > Print Label

To maintain a cohesive look and feel across the interface, 'Print lpn labels' is now changed to ‘Print LPN Labels” in the IB Shipment Header, OB Load, and ‘Print labels' is now changed to ‘Print Labels' in Order Header and Work Order Inquiry. Additionally, the Location UI is now updated on similar look and feel pop-up for a consistent user experience.

Enhancement in Group Permission UI

Earlier, the system had single group permissions that controlled entities across the WMS screens. On enabling this permission for the user group, the print label button was enabled across different entities:

Permission Entity Controlled

IBLPN > Print Label

IBLPN Inv > Print Label

OBLPN Inv > Print Label

OBLPN > Print OBLPN Label

OBLPN > Print OBLPN Content Label

OBLPN > Print Shipping Label

OB Loads > Print LPN Label

OB Orders > Print Label

Order Hdr > Print Label

Pallet > Print Pallet label

Pallet > Print Blind Label

Pallet > Print Shipping label

Price label > Print Test Label

Work Order > Print Label

Now, we’ve added new group permissions at entity level to control the Print operation. On enabling the permission corresponding to specific UI, the system enables the Print button for that respective UI. This granular level of permission control also gives you a previlage to restrict a particular user group from performing any Print operations.

The table list the new permissions added for corresponding entity where the Print buttons are enabled:
