Delete Records in Active Inventory Screen
In some business flows, the Active Inventory screen records the SKUs with zero inventory (if the location is dedicated permanently to the active location). This may lead to multiple records with the zero inventory SKUs. Now you can remove these unwanted records of SKU with zero inventory from the Active Inventory screen.
A new action button "Delete Records" is introduced on the Active Inventory screen. To delete the records, you can select a record and click the "Delete Records" button.
The following table describes the behavior for deletion of records based on scenario:
Scenario | Behavior |
---|---|
If the selected location is permanently dedicated but the selected SKU is not same as permanently dedicated SKU for the location. |
The system deletes the selected record. |
If the selected location is dynamic and the selected SKU has both current quantity and in-transit quantity as 0. |
|
If the selected SKU/inventory combination for the location has current quantity > 0. |
The system does not allow you to delete the record and displays an error message "Cannot delete record". |
If the selected SKU /inventory combination for the location has current quantity = 0 but in-transit quantity is >0. |
|
If the selected location is permanently dedicated and selected SKU is same as permanent dedicated SKU for the location with current quantity = 0. |
