Support for Priority across Trade Incentive Program Rules
GTM now incorporates a new priority concept for Trade Incentive Program Rules, allowing you to specify the order of rule application. For example, in the context of Duty Drawback in the USA with two rules (Direct Identification and Substitution Rule), you can now indicate that the Direct Identification Rule holds a higher priority than the Substitution Rule. The Trade Incentive Rules are now validating the period of discharge when they are applied.
Trade Incentive Program Rule
By incorporating the Priority across program rules, businesses gain increased flexibility in defining export-related business rules across their product lines. This strategic approach enables them to capitalize on diverse opportunities presented by trade incentive program regulations, ultimately enhancing the company's competitive edge. For instance, in the US, companies can leverage the duty drawback program, choosing between the direct identification or substitution drawback methods.
