Support Item Structure Assignment without Creating Child Lines via Compliance Rules

GTM now supports the capability to assign an item structure to a transaction line without the requirement of creating child lines. This new process is performed via compliance rules. A new check box labeled “Skip Child Line Creation” has been introduced in the Controls tab of the compliance rule. Enabling this check box ensures that the application assigns the Item Structure ID to the transaction line, without generating any child lines.

By offering the option to bypass the creation of child lines, GTM enhances operational efficiency and reduces complexity, particularly in scenarios where maintaining child lines on a transaction line is unnecessary. This improvement makes GTM more user-friendly.
