Copy Link Agent Action for Documents - Sell Shipment to Bill, Buy Shipment to Invoice

This feature provides you with the ability to configure an Automation Agent, to Copy or Link documents from between your Sell Side Shipment and Bill, or Buy Side Shipment and Invoice. The provided functionality supports the following:

• Copy or Link Documents From your Buy Side Shipment to the Invoice
• Copy or Link Documents From your Invoice to your Buy Side Shipment
• Copy or Link Documents From your Sell Side Shipment to the Bill
• Copy or Link Documents From your Bill to your Sell Side Shipment

In the example below, the Invoice Document was Linked from the original document on the Buy Side Shipment.

Simplifies the process of copying or linking documents between related objects.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of this functionality you will need to configure Automation Agents to Link or Copy the documents from and to the desired objects.  The examples below show the option for Buy Side Shipment to Invoice and Invoice to Buy Side Shipment.  The same pattern applies for Sell Side Shipment to Bill and Bill to Sell Side Shipment.

In the first example, the Document will be going from the Buy Side Shipment to the Invoice.  The Agent Type for this setup is Shipment. In this example the Agent is triggered when a Document is Attached to the Buy Side Shipment.

The Agent Action is as shown below.  The Action is Add Document To,  the Associated Object - in this case - is Shipment to Invoice and for this example the Buy Side Shipment Document will added as a Link to the Invoice.
