SUPPORT UI EDIT AND DELETE FUNCTIONALITIES FOR AN INTERFACED REQUEST

In the Movement Request Header UI, users can now perform COPY/EDIT/DELETE actions only for UI-created Movement requests where the 'Internal Movement Request' flag is set to 'Yes', and in valid status.

The following updates have been added to the UI and Interface to support Copy, Edit, and Delete:

UI Updates

  • A new field “Allow Edit of External Request" has been added in the Movement Request Header UI.
  • A new UI search field "Allow Edit of External Request" with a drop-down option of Yes and No has been added.
    • You can now search/filter for records with "Allow Edit of External Request" = Yes or No using this new UI search field

NOTE: You will only be able to update this during Movement Request interface.

  • The 'Internal Movement Request' field will NOT be displayed in the UI view by default.
  • You can add or remove this field from the UI view.

INTERFACE UPDATES

  • A new field “Allow Edit of External Request" has been added to the Movement Request interface file.
    • This new field is available in all supported interface file formats (JSON,XML,xls, and flat file).
  • Upon interfacing a Movement request with "allow_changes_from_ui" = <Blank>/ FALSE
    • The movement request will be created with "Allow Edit of External Request" = No
  • Upon interfacing a Movement request with "allow_changes_from_ui" = TRUE
    • The movement request will be created with "Allow Edit of External Request" = Yes

CHANGES TO UI EDIT AND DELETE FUNCTIONALITIES FOR AN INTERFACED REQUEST

We’ve enhanced the Movement Request UI, so that now you can Create/Edit/Delete movement request header/detail via the Allow Edit of External Request field.

When the 'Allow Edit of External Request' is set to Yes and the movement request is in a valid Status, the Create/edit/delete option is available.

NOTE: The existing Internal Movement Request field will be used only to identify whether a Movement request is created via interface / UI, and the Create/edit/delete of Movement request header/detail will NOT have any dependency on this column.

The following table shows the valid statuses associated with the action:

Order Level Action Valid Status
Header Copy All status
Header Edit Created, Partly Allocated, In picking and Allocated
Header Delete Created
Detail Copy Created, Partly Allocated, In picking and Allocated
Detail Edit Created, Partly Allocated, In picking and Allocated
Detail Delete Created
