Expand Task Creation for Waving and Replenishment to support Ordering by Ascending and Descending

The Task Creation Template is enhanced that allows you to define task sequencing, either in Ascending or Descending order based on specific ‘Order By Columns’ using ‘Sort By’ rule. This functionality applies to both CC Task Rules and Regular Task Rules and  helps you in defining sorting rules for Picking, Replenishment, and CC tasks.

For example: Tasks can be prioritized by Location-Aisle in ascending order, and within the same aisle and tasks are then sorted by Location-Level in descending order.

The new ‘Sort By’ parameter integrates with the existing Break By and Extended Grouping features.

    3. In the Sort By field, select either Ascending or Descending to define how tasks will be sorted based on the chosen Order by column.
    4. In the Break by count field, you can define how to group tasks based on a specific count (OPTIONAL).
    5. You can use the Extended Grouping option to further define custom grouping options based on your operational needs.
  5. Once all necessary fields are configured, click Save to apply the task sorting rules.
