Dock Scheduling Workbench - Display Location Resources Based on Appointment Rule Set

This feature provides you with a new property - glog.appointment.workbench.filterLocResBasedOnApptRuleSet - that when set to true, will determine the Appointment Rule Set based on the shipment stop estimated arrival time and check the compatibility of Location Resource before displaying it on the Dock Scheduling Workbench.  Previously, the Location Resources shown in the Dock Scheduling Workbench were not based on the Appointment Rule Set check.

In the example below, the glog.appointment.workbench.filterLocResBasedOnApptRuleSet property is set to false, the default. In this case the list of Location Resources displayed is not restricted based on the assigned Appointment Rule Set.

The same example with the glog.appointment.workbench.filterLocResBasedOnApptRuleSet set to true, and the appointment options provided are now limited based on the Appointment Rule Set.

This feature reduces the set of resource options displayed to the set of valid resources improving both performance and usability.

Steps to Enable

This feature is enabled with a property - glog.appointment.workbench.filterLocResBasedOnApptRuleSet - the Property Information is provided below and also is available in the Property Tree. 

To set the property you will need to navigate to Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Property Sets. 

NOTE: Only the DBA.ADMIN user can access and use the Property Sets page.
